Excellent Resource!

This book is an excellent resource for parents and professionals who work with children on the autism spectrum. This book describes a different method of ABA teaching- Teaching Interactions. Many people believe that ABA is only Discreet Trial Teaching and can only be used to teach rote skills. This book shows that ABA can be used to teach social skills, higher-order thinking skills, older children, and "high-functioning" children. I highly recommend this!

An Invaluable Tool for ABA Practitioners

This is a great book for those in the ABA field or for parents of kiddos on the spectrum. There are a lot of great lessons and it makes you think more in depth about breaking down complex social interactions into smaller steps. There are a lot of things neuro-typically developing people take for granted in social situations that we simply do not think about. A must have for any practitioner working with children on the Autism Spectrum.

I would recommend this to parents and professionals with autistic children in terapy. we have used "a work in progress" for 3 years now, and these two books are linked. So i kinda know how its structure. It have a good progress from the beginning, but fore more pictures and practical views we also use teaching children with autism to mind-read.
